meet ashley

I’m so happy you are here! My name is Ashley, the creative behind Home Sweet Terrace. I started this brand after my husband and I purchased our first home together in 2023 to share our home renovation journey. We live on a charming, tree-lined street in the City of Milwaukee but I spent the past 10+ years living in downtown Chicago, so I’ll always be a Chicago gal at heart. Most often you’ll find me working in our garden, cooking something up in the kitchen, or dreaming of the next design in our home remodel. 

On this site, I hope to inspire you to be creative in your home and find little joys in daily life- whether that’s through a great sale find, classically styled design inspiration, a healthy and delicious recipe and more. I’ve found a wonderful community on Home Sweet Terrace and look forward to continuing to celebrate the art of living beautifully together.
